Car rental conditions in Marrakech
These car rental conditions explain, in simple terms, how your booking works with DIRECTLOC. First, read them before you confirm. Thus, you start your trip with peace of mind. For any question, check the FAQ or contact us.
THE DRIVER
The main driver shows a valid driving licence and an ID card or passport. Indeed, the minimum age and licence seniority depend on the vehicle category; we state them when you book. Moreover, you declare any additional driver in advance.
PICK-UP AND RETURN
You collect the vehicle at the office or airport you choose (Marrakech, Agadir, Casablanca or Rabat), on the agreed date and time. You can also return the car to another office. In that case, any fee appears before you confirm. Finally, check the vehicle with our agent at hand-over and at return.
USING THE VEHICLE
Drive carefully and follow Moroccan traffic rules. Indeed, only the drivers named in the contract may drive. Besides, NARSA reminds drivers of the road safety rules. Finally, ask us first before any off-road use.
CHANGES, EXTENSIONS AND CANCELLATION
If you want to change, extend or cancel a booking, tell us as early as possible. Thus, we will find the best solution together. However, the conditions that apply remain the ones we confirm when you book.
PAYMENT AND DEPOSIT
You can pay on delivery or by bank transfer. Indeed, the total price appears before you confirm. Moreover, depending on the vehicle, a deposit may apply, and we give you the amount when you book.
INSURANCE AND EXCESS
Extra protection and a loss damage waiver (LDW) are available as options. Thus, before you confirm, we detail their conditions and the excess amount for each category.
ACCIDENTS, THEFT AND DAMAGE
In case of an accident, breakdown or theft, contact us immediately: we will help you. Likewise, report any damage as soon as possible. Finally, fines and impound fees linked to the rental remain the driver’s responsibility.
PERSONAL DATA
We use your information only to handle your booking and to contact you. Therefore, we never sell it to third parties.
